Telstra Best of Business Awards – Terms and Conditions
By registering for the Telstra Best of Business Awards, I acknowledge and agree to the following conditions of entry to the event.
Telstra may provide my information to exhibitors and event sponsors (who may be third parties external to Telstra) who may then contact me (by email or telephone) to market their products and services. Telstra is not responsible for the content and information from any external links provided by exhibitors and sponsors.
Telstra may use any information and data it collects through the registration process and my participation at the event and for on-demand content on the website (including through technology used at the event to track your activity and location) for Telstra marketing purposes, and may share this with third parties we use to assist with producing and sponsoring the event, and may otherwise use this information in accordance with Telstra’s privacy statement set out at https://www.telstra.com.au/privacy/privacy-statement.
The registration webpage uses both session and persistent cookies to help ensure a smooth user experience. Session cookies make it easier for navigation of the website. A session cookie expires when the browser is closed. Persistent cookies help to remember user preferences and improve the user experience. The event website and registration webpage contain both first-party and third-party cookies for some functions within the website. My use of the event website and registration webpage constitutes acceptance that cookies may be placed on my device to collect or process information from me and will remain active for the duration of my visit and stored for a period of time until deletion. I can delete the cookies at any time using the clear cookies function on my browser.
Telstra may contact me through SMS or any other electronic medium to provide updates and key information about the event and related products and services, or to market its products and services to me.

Where elements of the events are delivered in an in-person format, I will comply with all applicable rules and requests made by the venue operator that apply to my conduct in the event space, such as regarding health and safety measures and the use of portable electronic equipment.
Telstra will have photographers at the event. I consent to being filmed, recorded (by sound, video, image or otherwise) and photographed as an attendee of the event, and consent to its use by Telstra for promotional and any other purposes via any media platform.
I acknowledge that any online interactions including my input, questions, polling, and ratings through the event is Telstra’s IP.
I accept that my full and company name will be displayed during the live event to other attendees as part of the live event platform functionality.
Telstra does not take responsibility for any goods, services, and other benefits I may receive in relation to the event. I acknowledge it is my responsibility to comply with my organisation’s gift & reward policies and will seek further advice from my organisation if necessary.
I am attending the event at my own risk. Telstra is not responsible for any harm or loss unless caused by the wilful act or negligence of Telstra’s staff, agents, or sub-contractors. Telstra reserves the right to refuse entry to, or eject from the event, any person for any reason. I agree to comply with all directions of Telstra or the venue management at the event.
My invitation to the event is personal and not transferable. This event is for guests 18 years and over.
Telstra prioritises the health and wellbeing of our teams, our customers, and the communities that we serve.
We continue to monitor the COVID situation and aim to keep our events safe, by using an approach based on government recommendations and requirements, as well as expert advice from our partners. In line with current advice, for this event it will no longer be a requirement for all attendees to be fully vaccinated.
We count on you and your guests to make sure you follow any local laws, which includes any State or Federal health directives, such as those which relate to vaccination or other COVID mitigation strategies.
Although it is no longer a government requirement to self-isolate at home if you test positive for COVID-19, in the event you do test positive for COVID-19 in the five days before the event and you are still showing symptoms, we ask that you do not attend the Telstra Best of Business Awards and stay home.
It is no longer a government requirement to wear a mask when attending events. However, if you do prefer to wear one, we do encourage you to do so.
Telstra reserves the right to alter or change these terms and conditions without notice to you.
Ticket Cancellation policy.
If you have purchased a ticket and are no longer able to attend, we ask that you email us at team@telstrabestofbusinessawards.com to let us know. We'll refund you the amount paid for your ticket where written notice of your cancellation is received by us at least 7 days prior to the event. Any cancellations after this date will not be entitled to a refund.
